Kwong began his journey into the visual arts with abstract painting. While his early work focused on erratic strokes with the painting knife, he later began to integrate form through the use of collage. As he further developed his visual art skills through self study, model drawings, and blind gestures, form transitioned away from collage to his own drawings and paintings.

Kwong’s work was featured at the Con Artist Collective in an exhibition with various artists in New York City in December, 2015, while his paintings were used to design the cover of his acoustic album “The Turn.”
